LA RESPONSABILIDAD SOCIAL DE LA EMPRESA EN CONTEXTOS DE CONFLICTO Y POSTCONFLICTO

Dados los últimos acontecimientos que se viven a nivel internacional por los diferentes conflictos bélicos que afectan al correcto funcionamiento comercial en muchos países, a través de las redes sociales, nos han llegado algunas consultas de cómo se debe actuar en estas situaciones. Si bien contamos con experiencia profesional en algunos países que actualmente se ven afectados y en consecuencia conocemos los derechos y obligaciones que las empresas internacionales debemos cumplir en estos contextos concretos, nos hemos propuesto investigar al respecto y, a través de nuestro blog, exponer la información relevante sobre las llamadas Políticas de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE), derivadas de las políticas relativas al Derecho Internacional Humanitario (DIH) que toda empresa que interacciona en estas situaciones o en algún momento se vea involucrada en ellas, debe conocer a la perfección para su propio funcionamiento durante el conflicto y a posteriori. Hay 13 conflictos que empañan el mundo ahora mismo: (En Europa) Ucrania; (En Asía) Palestina-Gaza, Siria, Irak, Afganistán, Yemen y Pakistán; (En África) República Centroafricana, Sudán del Sur, Mali, Somalia, República Democrática del Congo y Nigeria.

THE CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN CONFLICT AND POST-CONFLICT CONTEXTS

Given recent events live internationally by various armed conflicts that affect the correct commercial operation in many countries, through social networks, we have received some inquiries of how to act in these situations. Although we have professional experience in some countries currently affected and therefore know the rights and obligations that international companies must meet in these specific contexts, we have proposed to investigate the matter and, through our blog, display information relevant about policies of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), derived from policies relating to International Humanitarian Law (IHL) that every company that interacts in these situations or at some point to be drawn into them must know perfectly for their own performance during the conflict and post conflict. There are 13 conflicts that tarnish the world right now: (In Europe) Ukraine; (In Asia) Palestine-Gaza, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and Pakistan; (In Africa) Central African Republic, South Sudan, Mali, Somalia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Nigeria.
